Similarly to iSaloni, this fair also features a range of conferences, workshops, and talks. Bellavista Prepares Its Iconic Pieces for the Salone 2023
Salone del Mobile 2023 will take place pretty soon – from 18 to 23 April. So, Bellavista Collection is working hard on this year’s display.
For the last decade, the brand has been presenting its showpieces in the form of complete interiors, so Bellavista Collection’s exhibitor booth looks like a real luxuriously furnished living space. 2023 won’t be an exception. The brand’s booth will be split into a few zones, such as bedroom, dining-room, living room area, etc. The full list of this year’s showpieces is predictably kept in secret so far. However, Bellavista Collection has unveiled four names of the showpieces to be displayed at the 2023 edition of the Salone del Mobile.
Interestingly, only two of them are created recently; the other two are revamped models of the pieces almost a decade old! Nevertheless, you can’t tell which is which by just looking at them, so well they harmonize with one another.
Luxurious, Comfy, Stylish, and Practical
Let’s start with the novelties, designed in 2022.
I PREZIOSI (which means ‘precious’ in Italian) actually is a small group of pieces: it unites three side tables. What makes them stand out is the combination of Carrara marble with semi-precious stones, used for decorating their tops. Gorgeous-looking green malachite was chosen for FLUT side table, tiger’s eye – for WANDER, and amethyst – for MAGGIE.
The tables were manufactured in cooperation with ARTEMARMI – an Italian marble processing company, and a custom jewelry making firm DIDONI. Last September I PREZIOSI collection turned heads at MARMOMAC, an influential trade event devoted to stone processing.
One more showpiece designed in 2022 is T-TENGO. It’s a tall cabinet, created in collaboration with Centropolis Design. This Milan-based studio, well-known for its exclusive lighting solutions, developed the inside Illumination for T-TENGO’s wooden details, which made the cabinet look really exceptional.
Two other pieces are almost a decade old, yet look no less stylish and elegant. JOSEPHINE sofa was first showcased at Maison&Objet as long ago as in 2013. Its base, made of solid moka-stained ashwood, looks great with both leather and fabric upholstery (Bellavista Collection offers both options). What is more, this sofa comes in four variants that differ in width.
One more long-standing bestseller, designed in 2014, is CAROL – a beautiful floor lamp with a handy swiveling tray. The structure, made of hammered brass with antique bronze finish, is topped with a small brass figure of a hippopotamus – Bellavista Collection’s mascot.
CAROL floor lamp can be a perfect addition to any living space. It is an extremely versatile piece. Thanks to its tray, CAROL can become a part of, say, a reading nook, if you place it next to a cozy armchair or a sofa.
